Fly Away BadgeGet ready to fly away on a new adventure at the fourth annual Amazing Bay Day – Flyway Fiesta! Hang out with GSSTB as we team up to learn why our ecosystem is so important to the birds. Discover feathered friends that live near you, whether they dive deep into the water or soar high over the land. Learn how they get off the ground and what a flyway is, and why it's important. Peer through binoculars as you spot birds, give back by helping to create bird habitat and celebrate as we throw a giant party that's truly for the Birds!

Transportation From Eureka to Redding Event:

To make sure as many members as possible can participate a bus will be chartered from Eureka to join members at the Redding site. If you are interested in this option please add $7.50/participant to your registration. What a bargain to spend all day at a festival, meet other girls and adults and have fun!

Girls, Show and Share What You Know

Our environmental friends in each location will be helping the Flyway Fiesta flourish, by sharing this day with you, but we also would love girl participation. Girls can earn leadership hours and have fun, by hosting a booth to share what they know about the environment. Although this is all-about-the-birds, we want girls to share any enviro-activity, project, craft or game at this event. Sign up by contacting the coodinator for your area (below).

Adult Volunteers

We also need adult volunteers to host an activities, booths, or volunteer in another way. Contact the coordinator for the site at which you will participate (below). Watch the Monday Mailing for more information on ideas and ways to participate. Join us for Fun and Adventure!
