The BizWorld Foundation and the Girl Scouts of Northern California have partnered to deliver new and exciting program for girls ages 8-17 as an extension of our Business Smarts Initiative. The BizWorld Foundation offers a hands-on experiential learning experience that teaches youth about the exciting and pertinent concepts of business, entrepreneurship and money management. In 2008 the Biz World curriculum was used to provide a fun financial literacy experience for girls that attended Camp CEO.
We are excited to announce that our partnership is growing to include a wealth of opportunities for Girl Scouts. At the “President’s Day Payoff!” Girls will learn about entrepreneurship and money management during a 2-day workshop “sleepover”.
