The Girl Scouts of Northern California’s Jewel of a Woman event honors women selected for service in their communities and for being excellent role-models for girls. The event, named after the first honoree - Ruby Jewel Codding Hall, has been held for the last 15 years in the former Girl Scouts of Konocti Council, which became the Girl Scouts of Northern California in 2007.
The evening will include a reception, gourmet dinner, silent auction, and a program honoring our “Jewels”.
We are pleased to announce that Debbie Meekins, EVP, Retail Banking Director for Sterling Savings Bank and Sharon Wright, businesswoman and former Santa Rosa Mayor, are the 2008 Jewel of a Woman honorees.
